Built in 1884 for the mayor S.A. Tarasov, a quarter of a century later the house was expanded with a two-story extension designed by architect Erichson. The dryly restrained design of the facade of the building is redeemed by much more impressive interior interiors.
The layout of the mansion is typical for the beginning of the XX century, the doors are decorated with crystal glass, the staircase is made of solid marble decorated with consoles with bronze aries. Gilded mirrors, amazing moldings on the ceiling and stunning antique furniture with onion legs and silk upholstery have been preserved.
